Text Box: WHAT IS GOING ON: Thank you for all of your prayers and support, and Thank you for standing with us during the past several months. You truly are in our hearts and prayers. It has been a while since our last update, and it seems like ages since we have put new pictures here. So I wanted to give and update as to what has been going on. The family is doing really well. Rose and I are doing well. I would have to say comfortable with living here in Brazil and life here seems normal. The kids, you won’t believe how much they have grown. Harmony had a birthday and turned 6 in March, and Stephen has one coming up in May and will be 3. They are both huge and very tall for their ages. Harmony has started 1st grade and is doing really well in school. She has made lots of friends and actually rushes us to get outside so she can wait for the school bus. Stephen tries to do everything that his big sister does, and everything else that he sees. Over the course of the last six months we have seen God do some wonderful miracles. As we have been patiently waiting on Him, He has made a clear path before us. As we have been asked we have been preaching at several local churches, and we have also been taking this past year as an opportunity to build relationships with people that God had put us in contact with. Back in December we were invited to preach at a small church in a rough area of Suzano. It was a small missionary minded Baptist Church. It was a blessing to be there and to share with them, and to meet the pastor and his wife. They are a wonderful couple that really loves the Lord, and getting to know them and their heart you see how much they love God. Geraldo and Fernanda (the pastor and his wife) chose to be at that location in the rough part of town because it was the hardest place to be, and the place that had the biggest need. I always find it interesting that sometimes when you meet people there is an instant connection that can not be explained any other way than God connecting you. We felt this connection with Geraldo and Fernanda, and they felt the same towards us. In February we were able to finally spend some time with them. They invited us out to their house in the country and we had a wonderful time. I thought an American Bar B Que was great, you should see a Brazilian Bar B Que. It is not just hamburgers and hotdogs. There was sausage, chicken, steak, steak and steak, and more food. It was great. They also have two boys one close to Harmony’s age, and the other close to Stephen’s age. The kids played so hard that they were black and green from the dirt and the grass. Harmony woke up in the middle of the night, saying that her body hurt. I just laughed and told her it was because she played so hard, and that she would be better in the morning. After lunch they asked us what was in our hearts and what we felt God wanted us to do. We began to share what God had put in our hearts, about a Ministry training center. A center that would train ministers and missionaries that had a strong emphasis on worship, and that we also wanted to see the local churches unite together and really start working together. As we were sharing a big smile came across their faces, at the end they told us that what we just shared was in their hearts also. They said for sure it was no coincidence that God was putting us together. So since that time we have been meeting with them on a regular base getting to know them, and praying to see what God would have us do. We both feel that God has put us together and that he does want us to work together, now we are just in the process of letting God define what that will be. We are in the initial steps of a lot of prayer and putting the vision down on paper and working on the legal part of it. It is a very exciting time for us. We have also been preaching on regular basis in different churches. It has been an honor to be ale to share about God’s love and the need for unity in the Church. It is amazing to see God making the way straight and clear for us to travel, and to see the other connections that He is making for us. Rose and I are very excited to see God answering our prayers of what to do and where to start. As we have been praying and seeking God, He has been preparing the way in front of us, . Thank you for praying with us and standing with us as we have been waiting on God to show us His way. BACK TO AMERICA As almost one year passed by, we are getting ready to go back to America for a little over a month. We are praying and working in to getting the provision for the trip. Once we have it settled we will post the dates here. PRAYING NEEDS: Please pray for our housing situation. We need a miracle to take place soon. We are also in a place where we finally need a car. To continue to minister we will need to have our own transportation. So please be praying with us that God would provide a vehicle for us; As we are starting to do more and with two kids growing fast we have more expenses, please pray that God will increase our monthly support; That God will continue to give us direction as we pray with Geraldo and Fernanda (the couple that we are starting to work with); and that he will send all we need to establish the worship training center; Pray for the Brazilian Church that there will be unit and for a wake up.
